Remarks

» The Mauritius Parakeet is of the managed remaining population, although I'm not sure if this individual has been reintroduced or was born in the wild. I like the picture and apart from the beautiful bird it is a snapshot of one part of the management programme - supplementary food provision - without which the species would have gone extinct.
